PERSONAL PROFILE

Mr. Griffin is a founding partner of the firm.

He is a long-suffering Red Sox fan who moved to California after his graduation from Providence College to pursue the Manhattan Beach lifestyle, involving mostly surfing and bartending. With more than a modicum of prodding from scores of concerned relatives, he sought a career in the law, graduating from Western State University in Orange County, California. While there, he participated in the Moot Court Team competitions and the International Studies Program offered at Cambridge University in the United Kingdom.

Mr. Griffin began his practice as a law clerk, hired by Larry Nelson while they were at a prior firm. They left together to form Nelson Griffin in June of 1995.

For over 20 years, Mr. Griffin has ardently defended personal injury cases, emphasizing premises liability, insurance fraud, and professional Errors & Omissions on behalf of insurance companies and self-insureds.
